I knew a girl-Her name was truth-She was a horrible liar-She couldn’t spend one day alone-But she couldn’t be satisfied-When you have everything-You have everything to lose-She made herself a bed of nails-And she’s planning on putting it to use-But she had diamonds on the inside-She had diamonds on the inside-She had diamonds on the inside-Diamonds-A candle throws it’s light into the darkness-In a nasty world so shines a good deed-Make sure the fortune that you seek-Is the fortune that you need-Tell me why the first to ask-Is the last to give every time-What you say and do not mean-Follows you close behind-She had diamonds on the inside-She had diamonds on the inside-She wore diamonds on the inside-Diamonds-Diamonds-Like the soldier long standing under fire-Any change comes as a relief-Let the giver’s name remain unspoken-She is just a generous thief-She had diamonds on the inside-She had diamonds on the inside-She wore diamonds on the inside-She wore diamonds-Oh , diamonds-She had diamonds-She wore diamonds-Diamonds

Mama Loves Mambo!

This week, tell us your "Preferences."

1. Do you prefer just audio or video/audio of your favorite songs?

Oh, must I choose? Fine. Audio. There ya go

2. What do you like to listen to in the car (radio, CD, mp3 playlist...etc)?

Well I don't have a car of my own, but I love the campus radio station, that I can tell ya.

3. Do you lean more towards a LIVE version of songs or the studio release?

Live. It's so much more raw and uncut.

4. What is your ideal concert venue? The Aitken Center! Anyone @ UNB knows what I'm talkin' about!

5. What's your favorite format (vinyl, cassette, cd, mp3 etc)?

It's a three way tie- Vinyl, CD and MP3.

Oh, how I miss mamboing......and I actually did it on time. It's amazing what a good mambo will do ya.

Yes, Yes I Know....

It has been an overly long hiatus from thees lovely leetle blog of mine, and do I EVER have stuff to tell. Well, maybe not that much, but some build-up is necessary, no?

Ah, 'tis the time of midterms. Blech.  I can say, unabashed and unashamed, that I absolutely, positively hate school. And this isn't even in the wussy way I didn't like high school- It's knowing that I've PAID 15K for it this year, on top of the fact that I hate it.  At least I'm living away from mom and dad (yes I do love them and my little brother to the casket drop- but I need a sanity break, mmkay?)ts

It's fast becoming cold over here, that I can say. Pardon me- making out wih my baby- allrighty. Back to business.  Not had a span of time over twenty-five minutes to spend with him this week. Poor guy- too many effing mid-terms for zee poor pooter engineers. But 'tis Fwyday!

Oh Happiness! JOY, even!!!

* does her little happy dance*

Yogourt, Raisins, Oatmeal, Cookies, Chocolate pudding and my baby. Life is vewwy vewwy good.

Catch y'all on the rebound!

Oh, The First Hump I've Had In Some Time!

Let's celebrate ICE CREAM CONE DAY!  I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream ... cones that is.  Yay!  This day commemorates the day the ice cream cone was patented.  Can you imagine?  Before 1903 they used paper cones or metal cones.  Thank goodness edible cones were invented because we all know that sucking the last bit of ice cream out of the bottom of the cone before we shove the whole thing in our mouth is confection heaven!

It's time for some pre-humping action so let's warm upEveryone needs or wants something.  Tell us, what could you use a double scoop of today?  What would you give your bestfriend a double scoop of?  It doesn't have to be ice cream -- it can be anything: kindness, hugs, time ...

If I were to send anybody a double scoop of anything, it would probably be a double scoop of hugs for my parents and lil' bro back home......after that it'd probably end up being a quadruple-backrub scoop for my baby, who's sore after his swim team's "initiation"

01.  A scented candle has been created that represents your daily life -- what smells might that candle emit? Probably apples, the smell of river water, vanilla, or Chris *sigh*

02.  If all of a sudden all money became useless and whatever you had the most of made you wealthy, what are you rich with? Not much :-D... I'd say either water bottles, body lotions, q-tips, and message boards. Oh, and CDs.

03.  You've won a "Everything You Can Grab In Three Minutes" shopping spree at your favorite store.  What store is it and what would be the first thing you'd grab? Today, probably some ibuprofen, wristguards, conditioner, and construction paper. No, I can't choose just one thing :-D.

04.  One million dollars to pose for Playboy or Playgirl ... do you do it?  If yes, what month would you be the perfect centerfold for?  If no, what magazine would you be a good centerfold for? I don't think I'd make a good centerfold, period :p.  If paid a reasonable amount of money, I wouldn't be opposed to doing a spread for Jane......

05.  You have an alarm clock that does whatever is necessary to wake you up and get you out of bed -- describe what process the alarm clock would perform.

Oh, it doesn't take much to get me up.....probably one that automatically changes the room temperature. I'm horrible with temperature change :-D.

That's it for now little Humpaluffaguses.

Don't forget, when you're done, remember to leave a comment so we can come and check out your hump. Or, hump in our comments section. Hump here, hump there, hump anywhere. There's no pressure either. You don't have to hump on a Wednesday -- any day is a good day to hump.

I'm Seeing Red

At least when  I look at my eyes in the mirror. Chris had to put me to bed last night (the poor guy), and he made it an order that I not attend any classes that I don't have to attend. I feel so bad for weaselling the walk back to my room out of him, but he didn't seem to mind at all- he's such an awesome guy. Yeah, I'm getting sappy. What's your point? He's my baby *contented sigh*

I should really get upstairs and see if he's back from class, now that I think about it. I miss him like a starving man misses his banana split...... If you'll excuse the the lackluster pun. At least it's Friday

*smile smile smile*

Well, I must be off!

xXx

Pics And Such

And that, friends and neighbours, would be a picture of my boytoy- the ever so lovely frosh-in-shining-armour who swept me off my feet the first week of classes.......dweamy. That's all I have to say on that matter. Either way there hasn't been a lot of time to type in entries (what with those nasty little things called classes :-D), but now that I've got time on this lovely Sunday afternoon, I figured: Why the hell not? It's in and around four in Fredericton now, and it's just bloody fabulous outside- not as good as it was last night, but definitely comparable, at least for the afternoon... That happened to be when I took this picture actually, and it's not like he had a problem posing :-P. Jennice has gone to her Grandparent's house for the afternoon and evening, so I doth have the room all to myself. It's a rare moment of silence in the house, and I can hardly stand it- but all my CD's are in Chris' room (in his words-OOPS.) The amount of work isn't as staggering as I expected-that's nice. I normally expect alot more. It's given me time to get some more piccies of Fredericton up, and it really makes me wonder what it would be like in winter, with a couple of feet of snow on the ground.......Makes me think......and I'll tell you what it makes me think...... It makes me think I need boots. Gasp! But either way, there are more pictures arriving over the course of the week, so y'all keep an eye open, ya hear :-D? Much love hugs and all that wonderful stuff to you all! xXx

Updatage!

What's this? Time to post?!? Gasp! It's been a while, hasn't it fellow bloggers? As I sit here, merely 45 minutes until my cheerleading practice, it's getting harder and harder to concentrate on what I should be doing....homework. Either way, I'll get around to it, but it's getting harder and harder to catch up......damn. But life in the world of university's been going well, dearies- that I can say without a shadow of a doubt! Things are still settling though. Back with more of the relatively boring life of me! Woooooo!

Me Again!

Ah, yes- back from the classroom, and just intime to write an entry! How exciting is that? Well this week's gotten off to a rather slow start, but but 'tis Friday....(and every one knows the expression for that, so I'm not going to bother with repeating it :-D). I haven't been able to visit very many of the blogs in the past couple of weeks, but that's because I've been a bit busy. I'm seeing someone at this point, and all the spare energy I have outside of class is going to him.......and no, not in the fun ways you're all thinking of. Yeah, I know you are. Heheh. But I have to study at this point.....this is so f***in mindbogglingly complex, it's nuts. xXx

Yet Another Apt Song!

"Leaving On A Jet Plane"

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go
I'm standin' here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye

But the dawn is breakin', it's early morn
The taxi's waitin', he's blowin' his horn
Already I'm so lonesome I could die

So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go

'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane
I don't know when I'll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go

There's so many times I've let you down
So many times I've played around
I'll tell you now, they don't mean a thing

Every place I go, I think of you
Every song I sing, I sing for you
When I come back I'll wear your wedding ring

So kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go

'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane
I don't know when I'll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go

Now the time has come to leave you
One more time, oh, let me kiss you
And close your eyes and I'll be on my way

Dream about the days to come
When I won't have to leave alone
About the times that I won't have to say ...

Oh, kiss me and smile for me
Tell me that you'll wait for me
Hold me like you'll never let me go

'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane
I don't know when I'll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go

And I'm leaving on a jet plane
I don't know when I'll be back again
Oh, babe, I hate to go

Hey! Don't know how you found my humble little blog, but I'm certainly glad you stopped by and poked around a bit.

Essentially, I'm a lover of the art of communication. Just ask anyone who's tried to shut me up :-D. But communication doesn't seem to limit itself only to the written or spoken word; therefore, that's not the only way I'll express myself in this blog.

If you have any comments, please don't hesitate to contact me, I'll be more than happy to talk! :)

OOOOOH! You Wanna link me?? *blush* Aw shucks, guys. Just remember save the one you choose to your hard drive. Just a public service snnouncement :-D.
